We are perfectionists!  We only do one event a day and only a few a month.  This is by design.  We turn down many requests if we feel we can't exceed expectations.  We have a team of over 7 people who participate in various aspects of your wedding or event.

Where did we start

 

Michael and Jennifer Grace have a great story. Before they met, they both worked for Music Masters in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Michael did radio, club and mobile DJ services for over 12 years.  Jennifer worked for the company for several years.  Michael bought the company along with Designer Music and made one of the largest DJ companies in the Bay Area.  After taking a break for family, we opened The AZ Experience in 2012 realizing a need for a reasonably priced, high service DJ company in the Phoenix area.


We don't do this full time.  Michael is an executive with a national health care system and Jennifer is an ICU nurse.  

Weddings and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs abound!

 

In December and January we are filled with several weddings, a school dance and a few Bar/Bat Mitzvahs.


Word on the street is that our customers really enjoy the planning meeting where they can customize their event.  We offer advice on each step and they can say yes or no.


We love our brides!  We have had young, nervous brides and second marriages.  The love around all these events is the one continuing theme.  


Most common question - do you play country or top 40?  Answer is yep, you can choose up to 20 songs an hour and we guarantee we will have them.

How do you select music

 

We like to encourage you to select music that appeals to your guests.  We want to know who is attending so we can guide you as to the music to choose.  If you are way off on your music, we will advise you of such.  We then take everyone on a musical journey, starting with the music for the older folks and working to a more modern era.  This is logical for your guests to follow along.  The older folks get a chance to dance before it gets to late, and everyone feels they heard music they loved.
